Weekend Trip to Bath

Hi everyone, hope your week is off to a good start!
As promised, I was snap happy in Bath so here’s a little round up of my weekend 🙂
I knew Bath was meant to be a beautiful city but it actually exceeded all of my expectations!
We were blessed with gorgeous weather both days, which made it even more amazing. The architecture was just stunning and we had a lovely time roaming the cobbled streets, uncovering all sorts of lovely boutiques and shops. Even the high street stores looked regal, housed in stunning Georgian inspired buildings!

We stayed in the Abbey Hotel, which was very central and ideal for a short weekend break. I loved the interiors in the bar and restaurant too. How cool do the glasses look hanging from the ceiling?!

The highlight of the trip was our visit to the famous Roman Baths. It felt like we were transported back to ancient Rome for a couple of hours 🙂
We enjoyed some lovely meals and cocktails too, as we were celebrating a very special birthday! Cafe Retro is a delicious spot for brunch and La Perla is a lovely tapas restaurant tucked away in an underground wine cellar.

Onto outfits and I’m glad I packed layers for this trip – I was soon peeling them off, as it got warmer throughout the day! My trusty Nike Thea’s were also great for the amount of walking we did.

On Saturday night, I teamed a new suede effect dress from Zara with a simple leather jacket and ankle boots. I was in an ‘all black everything’ mood and it was super comfy!

All in all, it was another great weekend full of laughs with my best friends. I love having little trips like this to look forward to and hopefully we’ll have another one in the not too distant future 🙂
As for Bath, I’d definitely love to go back again. Next time, a spa trip will need to be scheduled in too…they all looked amazing!
Have a great week 🙂
