Much as I love warm sunshine and holidays, I think autumn has to be my favorite time of year! I adore the colours of the trees turning and and the shorter evenings are perfect for cosying up on the couch wrapped in warm layers.
I always try to do a little clothes swap around now, but as September can be quite pleasant at times, I will leave a few lighter pieces out just in case that Indian summer arrives:)
This is the perfect season for laid back simple dinners and is there anything better than a throw it all in one pot wonder! Just looking at this delicious chicken and vegetable dish has me drooling and longing for cooler evenings!
I try to fit a walk in every day and love the colours of the countryside in autumn especially on a crisp sunny day:)
I adore layering especially with slouchy oversized knits and scarves! I think I will be in danger of buying too many this season as there are so many fabulous styles to choose from on the high street at the minute:)
Warm blankets and an open fire are just the best on a cool afternoon for a little time out-I also love to burn some gorgeous scented candles which add a special ambience to any room at this time of year:)
