Outfit Diaries

Happy Saturday everyone! So glad the weekend is here after a busy but fun week. I had a cosy Friday night in with a Gilmore Girls marathon (late to the party but the addiction is real!) and I’m meeting the girls for a birthday dinner later on this evening. Roll on the cocktails!
I’m popping in today with a couple of outfit posts that I shared on Instagram (@stylebylaura) during the week. Lots of you asked for links to buy and advice on size etc., so I thought I would put all all of the details here in one place!
I picked this Zara shirt up when I started my new job a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. It’s crisp cotton, not at all see through and the embroidery detail adds a nice point of difference to your regular white shirt! The wide sleeves are lovely too and I think it’s the perfect smart/casual piece. I wore it with trousers this time but it will work equally well with jeans. The shirt is quite oversized and I went for a size small. My navy skinny trousers are from Penneys and only €10. They are an amazing work staple and I’ll definitely be going back for a pair in black. With a side zip, high waist and flat front panel, they are super comfy for everyday wear. My bag is Mulberry and the shoes are last year from good old Dunnes!
On Friday, I just wanted to be cosy and pulled this sleeveless blush coat out of my closet! I have this a couple of years now but it’s a great staple I always go back to. It’s the perfect piece for pulling an otherwise ordinary (cream top and black jeans) look together. I’ve found an almost identical one on SheIn (on sale!) if anyone is interested. Alternatively, google ‘sleeveless waterfall jacket’ as there seems to be plenty of similar styles out there at the moment!
Have a fabulous weekend!
